Online portal offers information on harmful algal blooms throughout California

State officials have updated an online interactive map with information about waterways and water bodies that have advisories due to harmful algal blooms. The Water Boards, aided by partner organizations, gathered water samples at roughly 80 popular California lakes and streams with a history of harmful algal blooms and then to share the information with the public.
