If Your Couch Is Older Than This, You Need to Replace It, New Study Says
A new study published in the journal Environment International says that couches more than 7-years-old are more likely to contain elevated levels of toxic flame-retardant chemicals. The joint research by experts from the California Department of Toxic Substances Control; University of California, Davis; Environmental Working Group and Green Science Policy Institute recommends replacing couches manufactured before 2014.
