California is working with NASA to gather satellite data on climate change

A partnership between state agencies and NASA will study the impacts of climate change and how to extract and store carbon from the environment. Signatories to the joint effort include the California Natural Resources Agency, the California Environmental Protection Agency, the California Department of Food and Agriculture, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory allows the federal and state entities to share data from Earth-based satellites and other ground-based technologies.
