‘Beach Report Card’ finds California’s wet winter means dirtier water at the coast
An annual “Beach Report Card” released Wednesday concludes that historic winter precipitation in California is resulting in high runoff rates and dirtier water along the coast. Heal The Bay said just two beaches statewide made its 2022-2023 Honor Roll — Bean Hollow State Beach in San Mateo County, just south of San Francisco, and Point Loma in San Diego County.
